The Truth

Everyone would be arriving soon and she needed to hurry her ass up to get everything ready.
Her stomach flipped around as she thought, he would be here as well.
He was coming to her party. She could not stop smiling and she wondered if she looked crazed as she set the bar area up.
Great Goddess she needed to chill out. Her being such a freak would not do. Not at all.
A deep breath in and then a slow exhale.
Ok, calmer now. Time to get things done.

Soon her house was filled with laughter of friends. The drinks flowed, the smoke swirled around their heads and the fun was genuine.
Her green gaze kept straying to him. He sat next to her while they talked. His blue eyes were on hers and sparkling with something she did not want to try and decipher.
Those blues made her skin shiver and her heart beat faster.
Soon people were heading outside and he held her back.

"I need to know something. How do you feel about me?" he asked softly as the others disappeared to the back yard.

"What do you mean? we are friends of course I like you." she stammered her cheeks heating, immediately giving her away.

He took her hand in his and tugged her closer.
"I want the truth little one. Tell me. I want to know if what I see in your eyes when you look at me is what I hope it is." he whispered as he moved closer.

"The truth?" her whole body went cold then hot. The smoke filled her mind and the wine made her tongue loose.
"I like you. A lot. You make me happy. You make me laugh. You're smart. You're different. You're a little crazy, and awkward, and your smile alone can make my day."

Then that amazing smile appeared on his face and she knew she was lost.
She had gone and fallen in love with this sweet man and she was so scared it was one sided.
His fingertips grazed her cheek as he stared down at her and then he sighed

"Ditto little one, ditto." then he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers gently.

Her mind went blank and the whole world faded away. All she could do was sink into his body, her hands sliding up his chest to wrap around his neck.
His soft groan into her mouth spurred her on and her small body was now molded to his.
She could feel he was aroused and this sent her body to trembling.
She wanted this man. She wanted him inside her. She wanted to be as close as possible.
She needed to taste him and know his scent.
His hands slid down to her ass and he pulled her closer.
This is what it was supposed to be....two lovers beginning their journey with happiness and joy.

Can't Stop Thinking....

The basketball game on the television above him hardly had his attention. The drink between his fingers was cool but his thoughts had gone to a heated place.
She would be here soon.
He had not seen her in weeks and he was glad this event would get them together.
The bar was getting more and more crowded by the moment.
Her text said they were on their way. He smiled then sipped his drink.
He would see those green eyes soon.

A bump to his shoulder got his attention and at his right side she stood.
Those amazing green eyes sparkling with joy met his own and he grinned.
His stomach did a small flip letting him know that the rest of him was happy to see her too.

She got him to a place in the bar where the others had gathered.
The amount of people milling around was confusing and with everyone jockeying for seats he ended up at the other end of the room from her.
He sat down, back against the wall and saw her tentatively perch on a stool.
Her joyful eyes were dimmed but she continued to talk to those around her.
It seemed as their eyes met for the tenth time she made a decision.
She slipped off the stool and walked across the room to him.
It took all his control not to watch her with hungry eyes. To not grin like a fool to see her come to seek him out.
This is what he wanted. He needed to have her close.
As she moved through the crowd he saw other men's glances slide over her small form.
It made him possessive, so much so that he wanted to grab her around the waist when she got close enough and claim her.

Soon she was there, talking to him and he realized just how much he missed her.
The laughs. The sparkle in her green eyes and the mischievous smile she wore when she teased him about this or that.

A few drinks later he knew that this had to end. This dance in his head. He was free to do what he wished and what he wished at this moment was to kiss this gorgeous little thing.

He stood up and took her hand. Ignoring anyone's glance he gave her a tug and she followed with a bemused smile.
Once they were outside, away from the noise and prying eyes he turned to her but did not let go of her hand.
The tingles racing up his fingertips he did not want to lose. He needed her contact and he needed reassurance that this was the right thing to do.
A moment of doubt slipped through his mind as he stared at her.
She silently watched him, a small smile on her lips and what he had to say was hope in her eyes.
He knew the situation he was about to walk into was something new, something different and he felt uneasy about it all. But only because, as he had thought a hundred times in the past few weeks, he had never done such a thing before.
Time to go on epic adventures as his little one would say.
He smiled down at her and tugged her into his arms.
She slid her arms around his neck and pressed her body to his.
He felt the desire rocket through him and he sighed, tightening his hold.

"I can't stop thinking about you and everything I want to do to you, every where I want to touch you." He said softly as he stared down into her green eyes.

"Ditto." she said softly and the look in her eyes sent shivers racing through is body.

Time to stake his claim.
Time to be bold.
Time to take what he wanted.

His lips took hers in a deep, sensual kiss and the world fell away.
This was how it was supposed to be.
Yes.

Date Night

She smoothed the paper out before her on the table as she felt the nerves twist through her for the tenth time as she waited.
They had talked a little and now here she was about to have a date. A real date.
First one in so long.
Goodness she hoped she looked alright. She tugged at her red shirt and worried it was too low cut for someone like her without a lot of cleavage to show off.
Oh when would he get here....her thought trailed off as he came into view.
Goddess, he was so gorgeous. So tall. Such beautiful blue eyes. And he was here. Here with her.

"Hi...sorry I am late. Parking was a mess out there." he said as he slipped into the chair opposite.

The waiter came over and they ordered wine, discussed the food choices then ordered. With all that out of the way she decided it was time to ask the questions.
how else would she get to know him.

"So,  how about ...." she glanced at her paper and then said. " What are 5 passions you have and why?"

He sipped his wine, his eyes went from her eyes to the paper and then back to her eyes.
"Those are all questions?" he asked with one brow raised.

Her stomach jumped into her throat leaving her mute so she just nodded with wide eyes.
Was this a bad idea? She read so many things that this was a good way to get to know someone.
Oh dear, he was looking at her like she was crazy. Oh no.

He took another sip of his wine then reached over and took the paper from her.
He scanned it over then chuckled softly.

"These are actually pretty good questions. How about we discuss each one of them together. Cause I want to know some of this about you as well."

Her stomach untangled from her throat to slowly drift back to its proper place in her body.
She took a drink of her wine, nerves were jangling and she nodded.

"Ok I will do this first one then you go. I am passionate about family, my motorcycle, good books, being kind, and sex." He grinned at her.

"Oh...my turn...ok..." she stammered and thought a moment. What was she truly passionate about? Her brow furrowed with thought and then she said softly.
"Writing, living well, my 1968 Chevelle, my family, and national parks."

"Nice....1968...hmm...I like the 70's better. Gotta be different." He grinned and she felt her heart lighten a bit.
Maybe this will work out. Maybe she will not fuck this up like she usually does on a date.

"Ok..the next one.....20 random things....this should be fun.." he said with a laugh.
"We may need another bottle of wine before the night is done."

She laughed and agreed. Then they began working their way through the questions one at a time.

He Smiled Like the Devil

"Damn." she breathed and crouched down lower in the brush.
She could hear the horses pounding hooves as they raced down the road and she willed her heart to slow.
The horses stormed past, men shouts made her tremble with the need to kill. She must not move. Do not move, she raged at herself.
A finger twitched on her bow and she knew she could take at least 4 of them out but she had no idea how many there were.
The sounds receded but she did not move. A sound to her right, slightly behind her made her tense and her free hand wrapped around her dagger.
She would not go down without a fight.
Slowly she turned to look over her shoulder to see a pair of dark brown eyes staring at her.
Breath slowly left her as she stood up to watch the doe bound away from her movement.

"Goodness, what a day." she said softly.

"I agree. It has been a trying day." a male voice said with veiled amusement and she wheeled around arrow nocked and ready to fly.

A dark brow rose but the man did not move.

"Really? This is the greeting I receive?" He stared at her with the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen. She almost wavered but stood her ground.

"What do you want?" she ground out.

"No my dear, it is what you want. You asked me to aid you and so here I am. You wished to have a savior and so here I am." he bowed with a flourish and as he straightened dark hair fell over his forehead.

"Savior?" she said confusion winding through her. "I asked for no such thing."

"Oh you most certianly did and I am here. I do not come to many my dear. I have a lot on my plate and therefore you should feel special I am here." those blue eyes darkened and she swore she saw fire within their depths.
A fear washed through her as she remembered saying....oh no....she remembered saying out loud while deep into a bottle of wine that she would pay anything to have a savior in a bad spot.

"Ah I see you remember." He stepped closer, one finger touching the tip of the arrow pointing at his throat and he pushed down.
"As I said. I do not do this often but you intrigue me little one and so I am here to take payment and be your savior." He laughed. "Savior.....has such a ring to it dosent it?"
He looked at her and smiled.

When he smiled all she could think was, oh shit.
Oh shit, I made a deal with the Devil.

"No no, not that old word. Devil. I am not standing here with red skin, tail and horns as a repulsive creature." He grinned as he stepped closer and she agreed. There was not one thing about him that was repulsive.
What was truly disturbing was that she wanted to touch him. Would his skin be hot like the fires of hell? Would kissing him send her to ashes at his feet?

His blue eyes lit up with amusement.
"You can touch me without fear my little one."

"Stop reading my mind....it's rude." She snapped at him and stepped back. He was making her thoughts spin out of control.

"Perhaps we should start over little one. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lucifer and I am now your Savior." he took her hand, pressed his lips to the back of her hand and all she could do was stare at him as her will exploded into dust.

Sky knew she had a problem and she had to get out of this one.
Shielding her thoughts as she was taught from childhood she began to formulate a plan to trick the devil into giving her what she needed and not give him what he would require as payment; her soul.

Wild Kisses

She was there with him.
Finally after all this time.
The dance of words was coming to a close.
She needed to show him now how she felt.
The desire raged within her and she could see the same in his eyes.
He kept talking though, an almost nervous chatter that kept tugging the corners of her lips upward into a small smile.
Good. She made him nervous. She wanted him off balance.
She wanted him to feel what she felt every time she looked up into those blue eyes.
Those orbs captured her soul each time and made her feel as if she were drowning in desire.

She had never felt so alive sitting next to him, the air cracked with electricity.
Every cell was on fire inside her and all she could think of was leaning over and placing her burning lips on his neck half biting, half kissing him, she wanted to kiss him wildly like he's never been kissed before.....breathing life back into his soul, until his only desire at this moment was to have him make her his.

He needed her. She knew this. She sensed it to the core of her being.
Needed her wild, carefree nature to set his wild soul free as well.
He was contained and needed space to roam. To be the beast. To be wild like she was.

Her tongue traced her bottom lip as her gaze remained trained on the smooth skin of his neck.
Heat pooled in between her thighs and she clenched them together as need snaked through her.
Fuck it. She would take what she wanted.
Push him to claim her.
She wanted him to take her hard and mark her as his own.
Biting her bottom lip she leaned forward and pressed her lips to the hot skin along the curve of his neck.

His voice caught at the contact of her lips to his skin. She did not dare stop and her tongue darted out to taste.
He was very still but his breath, fast and shallow, told her she was on the right path.
Pressing her lips to his skin again she moved closer to him and was rewarded with his arm snaking around her to pull her closer to his side.

Teeth caught the sensitive skin of his neck and he gasped then let out a soft moan.
Her tongue traced the red of the bite.
Kisses trailed upward to his strong jaw. His arm tightened and then a growl was heard.
That sound made every cell in her body shiver with pure need and desire.
This was a primal sound that called to her own.
Take me, her body screamed.

He did take her.
With one fluid motion he had her straddling his lap while his lips claimed hers in a hot kiss.
She thought she would be the one wiping the worry of the world from his mind but he demolished any thought she had in that moment or the next.
His tongue plundered her mouth taking her will away.
All she could do was submit to this man.
Willingly bare her throat to be marked and owned.
To him. For him. Always for him.
