Can't Stop Thinking....
The basketball game on the television above him hardly had his attention. The drink between his fingers was cool but his thoughts had gone to a heated place.
She would be here soon.
He had not seen her in weeks and he was glad this event would get them together.
The bar was getting more and more crowded by the moment.
Her text said they were on their way. He smiled then sipped his drink.
He would see those green eyes soon.
A bump to his shoulder got his attention and at his right side she stood.
Those amazing green eyes sparkling with joy met his own and he grinned.
His stomach did a small flip letting him know that the rest of him was happy to see her too.
She got him to a place in the bar where the others had gathered.
The amount of people milling around was confusing and with everyone jockeying for seats he ended up at the other end of the room from her.
He sat down, back against the wall and saw her tentatively perch on a stool.
Her joyful eyes were dimmed but she continued to talk to those around her.
It seemed as their eyes met for the tenth time she made a decision.
She slipped off the stool and walked across the room to him.
It took all his control not to watch her with hungry eyes. To not grin like a fool to see her come to seek him out.
This is what he wanted. He needed to have her close.
As she moved through the crowd he saw other men's glances slide over her small form.
It made him possessive, so much so that he wanted to grab her around the waist when she got close enough and claim her.
Soon she was there, talking to him and he realized just how much he missed her.
The laughs. The sparkle in her green eyes and the mischievous smile she wore when she teased him about this or that.
A few drinks later he knew that this had to end. This dance in his head. He was free to do what he wished and what he wished at this moment was to kiss this gorgeous little thing.
He stood up and took her hand. Ignoring anyone's glance he gave her a tug and she followed with a bemused smile.
Once they were outside, away from the noise and prying eyes he turned to her but did not let go of her hand.
The tingles racing up his fingertips he did not want to lose. He needed her contact and he needed reassurance that this was the right thing to do.
A moment of doubt slipped through his mind as he stared at her.
She silently watched him, a small smile on her lips and what he had to say was hope in her eyes.
He knew the situation he was about to walk into was something new, something different and he felt uneasy about it all. But only because, as he had thought a hundred times in the past few weeks, he had never done such a thing before.
Time to go on epic adventures as his little one would say.
He smiled down at her and tugged her into his arms.
She slid her arms around his neck and pressed her body to his.
He felt the desire rocket through him and he sighed, tightening his hold.
"I can't stop thinking about you and everything I want to do to you, every where I want to touch you." He said softly as he stared down into her green eyes.
"Ditto." she said softly and the look in her eyes sent shivers racing through is body.
Time to stake his claim.
Time to be bold.
Time to take what he wanted.
His lips took hers in a deep, sensual kiss and the world fell away.
This was how it was supposed to be.
Yes.
