Run Away
He stood watching her walk away. He would not look away. He needed to keep his gaze on her small form for it was going to be a long time before he saw her again.
A soft sigh escaped him as he watched the wind caress her hair and how he wished he was the one tugging those soft strands off her cheek.
His fingertips would brush her skin and the tingles of desire would shoot up his arm.
He licked his lips. He remembered the first moment their lips met and it was like a storm of desire hit him head on.
He had never faced such passion before in his life.
It was terrifying.
Overwhelming.
And so very intoxicating.
He delved into that mouth with everything he had and he knew he would be addicted.
he had to turn away.
He had to run away.
Does it make me weak or rather just human that I run away from the things that I love the moment they begin to hurt me?
He had to guard his heart against the temptress she was.
She was good to her soul. Her smile sweet. Her words always kind.
her understanding nature something he had always wished for.
A soul that understood the dusty, mixed up corners of his own.
She would not be free to be his.
He could not handle that.
he needed her...all of her...all the time.
With a distressed sigh he turned again from her form and walked away.
